International Affairs Policy Council
Article 1: Definition
The International Affairs Policy Council of Kurdistan University is a council that is formed for the purpose of planning and policy-making of international affairs in order to achieve the goals of the university’s international strategic plan.
Article 2: Composition of council members
- President of the University as Chairman of the Council
- Vice-Chancellor of the University as a member of the council
- Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of the University as a member of the Council
- Vice-Chancellor for Social and Cultural Affairs of the University as a member of the Council
- University Vice-Chancellor as a member of the council
- Administrative and financial deputy of the university as a member of the council
- Director of International Affairs of the University as Secretary of the Council
- Director of Non-Iranian Student Affairs as a member of the council
- Two experts in the field of internationalization and international activities at the discretion of the Chairman of the Council
Note 1: All members have a single voting right. The form of voting (secret or open) is at the discretion of the majority of the council.
Note 2: In appropriate cases, at the discretion of the Chairman of the Council, natural and legal persons related to the agenda of the Council will be invited as guests (without the right to vote) to participate in the meetings of the Council.
Article 3: Meetings of the University International Affairs Policy Council
The University International Policy Council will meet at least once a month (Monday at 11:00). The resolutions of this council are binding.
Article 4: Duties of the Council
The tasks of the University International Policy Policy Council are as follows:
- Formulation of macro-internationalization policies of the university within the framework of the university’s international strategic plan
- Review and modify the university’s international strategic plan as necessary
- Supervise the proper implementation of the university’s international strategic plan
- Planning for the development of short-term, medium-term, and long-term international cooperation
- Approval and notification of tuition, tuition discount, and number and type of scholarships for international students
- Reviewing and approving the proposals of the University Internationalization Council
